-Hypocrites Issue is discussed by Khamenei Supreme Leader-Tafsir Munafequn Surah

when the hypocrites come to you they say: `we bear witness that you are the messenger of Allah. ` Allah knows that you (Prophet Muhammad) are indeed his messenger, and Allah bears witness that the hypocrites are truly liars

The importance of the issue of the hypocrites

In Surah Al-Munafequn, a very important social issue is raised. Of course, this discussion is mentioned in dozens of places in the Qur'an in different languages, and every place looks at the issue of hypocrisy and hypocrites from the same angle and from the same point of view. At the beginning of the Qur'an and in Surah Al-Baqareh, after the first few verses, there is talk of believers, disbelievers, and hypocrites; There is also a mention of the hypocrites, and perhaps the amount discussed about the hypocrites there is more than the amount discussed in this surah about the hypocrites; However, this surah is the surah of the hypocrites, and this itself indicates the importance of the issue of the hypocrites. We don't have any surah in the Quran that is about disbelievers; Nowhere is the Surah "Qol ya ayyohal kaaferun" which was in the minds of some, about the infidels. This is an instruction to the Prophet in relation to the infidels. There are no more than three or four verses. In short, tell the infidels that I do not worship your religion and your god You look after your work; I look after mine; It was a peaceful declaration of war with the infidels. There is no surah in the Qur'an about the infidels in drawing the faces of the infidels in expressing the mental and intellectual dimensions of the infidels in the psychological state of the infidels. About the hypocrites. but this surah is about the hypocrites.  The psychology of the hypocrites. The perceptions and feelings of the hypocrites. Of course, as we mentioned, these contents are supplemented by dozens of detailed verses in the Quran about hypocrites, and in general, the issue of hypocrisy and hypocrites is like this. It is mentioned in the Qur'an; And of course, I don't know if I will find the opportunity to discuss the hypocrisy and the hypocrite in this discussion session and under this noble Surah in a complete and comprehensive manner or not  .Of course, I will try to present some information that is within the scope of these verses, but the overall issue of hypocrisy and hypocrite, with its dimensions and all aspects, is a different story, and if I have the opportunity, God willing, I will explain it in that form and with that generality

Hypocrisy; The scourge of  Islamic rule

Let me state one thing first, and that is that the issue of hypocrisy arose from the era of Islamic rule; We did not have anything called hypocrisy and hypocrites before Islam came to power - that is, when the Holy Prophet was in Medina. Maybe there were influential people at that time and during the campaigns, a person who came to inform and inform the infidels of Quraysh that, for example, Muslims are sitting around the Prophet and are saying this and doing that; Such a thing was possible, but if there was a current of hypocrisy in the society and around the Prophet, it was not such a thing; We can definitely claim this. Hypocrisy arose when the Prophet came to Medina; why Because a hypocrite is someone who is a disbeliever in his heart, has no faith in God, but claims to believe outwardly; Why does he claim? In order to take advantage of this faith and in the shadow of declaring faith and pretending to believe, he can achieve good for one, benefit for one health. When does such a situation occur that a person gets a benefit because of expressing his faith? When the declaration of faith is good and blessed in the society; When he declares his faith in the society, he is beaten, he is exiled, he is sent to Abi Talib Enclosed valley, he is killed and tortured. At that time, those who claim to believe that in the depths their hearts are believers; Ammar Yasirs, Belal, Abizars and thelike

Those who are believers to the depths of their souls; These pure believers keep their faith secret as much as they can so that no one understands, and when it is necessary or they have no choice, they show their faith. There is no more place for hypocrisy. Hypocrisy is where there is good and blessing in the expression of faith. It is the Islamic government and the Islamic society

Muslims want Islam, and they accept all the Islamic values of the rulers of the believers. It is in such an atmosphere that hypocrisy grows and people who do not have any faith in their hearts pretend to believe and come in the hearts of the people and in the minds of the people. They bring themselves in so that the people will recognize them as believers, the country's officials and leaders will think that they are believers, so that good and blessings will come to them. For example, if they get stuck in something somewhere, they can take over the administration of a part of the country, they can do something, they can live comfortably in a society where if they don't pretend to believe people will treat them like strangers. they do in order to achieve this charity; they claim to believe. So before the Prophet came to Medina and Islam became the government, there was no cause for hypocrisy at that time. That is, it was wrong to assume that hypocrisy existed in the form of [a] flow before the Prophet's death in Medina

When the Prophet came to Madinah, first of all, not all of them became believers. Faith spread gradually and captured all the hearts of them, youths, old men, women, men, families and all the people who became believers in Madinah from Aus and Khazraj; They did not allow non-believers to live with their own disbelief. It means the pressure of public opinion

Inside the Islamic society, idol worshipers, infidels, and non-believers were prevented from having a comfortable life. The Prophet had nothing to do with them. If there was an unbeliever in the Islamic society, the Prophet would have nothing to do with them. Of course, the Prophet would allow the unbelievers to live in the beginning. However, the Jews, who were unbelievers from the people of the Book, lived with the Prophet for a few years, and the Prophet had nothing to do with them until they betrayed him. Then the Prophet attacked them. If they did not betray, maybe they would have stayed until later. Therefore, the Prophet, as the government, as the ruler and leader of society, had nothing to do with these people who wanted to live in a corner with their own disbelief. But People did not accept these

It is mentioned in history that an idol worshiper of the people of Medina had an idol and worshiped it; After the arrival of the Prophet to Medina, the youths of Medina came and took this idol and threw it in the trash. When this [person] came at night, he saw that was not his idol; He went around the corner and saw that this idol was lying in a garbage dump near the house. He cleaned the idol, tidied it, for example put perfume and rose water on it and installed it again on the window sill or the same place where he put it and worshiped it and respected it. The next day when he left the house, the youths of Medina came again to destroy this idol. They took it and threw it in the garbage and polluted it with dirt and it fell there again at night when this man came and saw that his idol was in the garbage He took this idol home, washed it, cleaned it, removed its impurities, perfumed it with rose water and left it there

On the third day when he left, these young men came and took this idol and threw it in the trash. When he came back on the third night and saw that the idol was not there, he followed his idol in a hurry and upset. This time he became bitter and said that what kind of god are you that you cannot defend yourself? I will not pick you up tonight, save yourself from here, punish those who brought you here; If you punish them, you are God, otherwise you are not God.; And this caused his faith; That is, he felt that this god of his could not defend himself, so he gave up idolatry and disbelief. It was such a situation where unbelieving people could not easily live with their own disbelief with stubbornness, with their own idolatry. Now this person who was a healthy person; This person whose name we mentioned (Amr ibn jo muh) and learned his story was a simple healthy person; He was deceived and when he saw this, he became a believer. There were some people whose problem was not belief and faith in idols, they did not believe in idols either, but they were not willing to go under the burden of faith in God and go under the burden of the Prophet, the rules of Islam, which established equality between Muslims. Some people were like this. What were they doing? They pretended to believe in order not to give up their own beliefs. This is where hypocrisy began
