Verse of Ekmal الیوم اکملت لکم دینکم , Interpretation of the verse of 3 of Maedeh

 

حُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْزِيرِ وَمَا أُهِلَّ لِغَيْرِ اللَّهِ بِهِ وَالْمُنْخَنِقَةُ وَالْمَوْقُوذَةُ وَالْمُتَرَدِّيَةُ وَالنَّطِيحَةُ وَمَا أَكَلَ السَّبُعُ إِلَّا مَا ذَكَّيْتُمْ وَمَا ذُبِحَ عَلَى النُّصُبِ وَأَنْ تَسْتَقْسِمُوا بِالْأَزْلَامِ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ فِسْقٌ   ۗ الْيَوْمَ يَئِسَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِنْ دِينِكُمْ فَلَا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِ ۚ الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الْإِسْلَامَ دِينًا    ۚ فمن اضْطُرَّ فِي مَخْمَصَةٍ غَيْرَ مُتَجَانِفٍ لِإِثْمٍ ۙ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

 

You are prohibited carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and what has been offered to other than Allah, and the animal strangled or beaten to death, and that which dies by falling or is gored to death, and that which is mangled by a beast of prey—barring that which you may purify —and what is sacrificed on stone altars [to idols], and that you should divide by raffling with arrows. All that is transgression. Today the faithless have despaired of your religion. So do not fear them, but fear Me. Today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam as your religion. But should anyone be compelled by hunger, without inclining to sin, then Allah is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful

Tips
In the first verse, it was mentioned that using the meat of cattle is halal, except for what is forbidden. to be expressed later. This verse has mentioned ten types of forbidden meat. "Monkhaneqah" is an animal that has been suffocated, either by the hand of a human or an animal or by itself, it is an animal that dies by being hit and tortured. The Arab custom was that some animals were beaten until they died out of respect for the idols, and they considered this a form of worship. "Motoraddiyeh", an animal that is thrown from a height. Natiheh” is an animal that is dead by an animal's horn. The prohibition of what is mentioned in this verse is mentioned in Surahs An'am, Nahl, and Baqareh, but in this verse examples of corpses that were strangled, beaten, bitten by horns, etc.) are stated. Imam Baqer said: "Welayat is the last duty of God, then he recited "Alyum Akmalto Lakum Dinakum= الیوم اکملت لکم دینکم: (Kafi, V1 :289)

Idols were statues that had a shape; But "Nosob" were the shapeless stones that were installed around the K’abeh and sacrifices were made in front of them and the blood of the sacrifice was rubbed on them. In verse 109 of Surah Baqareh, the desire of the infidels towards the deviation of Muslims from their own path is mentioned. God commanded you to be indifferent until the divine order arrives, so the Muslims were waiting for a decisive verdict that would disappoint the infidels until the verse of Alyum Akmalto...) was revealed

Ghadir in the Quran

Two things are stated separately in this verse, one is related to banning forbidden meats except in cases of emergency and the other is related to the completion of religion and despairing infidels that this part is completely independent for several reasons

A. The infidels despair of religion has nothing to do with eating dead meat or not eating it

 B. The narrations that came through the Shia and Sunni regarding the revelation of the verse are in the position of saying the sentence "Alyum yaes al-ladhina kafaru" and "Alyum Akmalto Lakum Dinakum" and not related to the sentences before and after it that is about the rules of dead meat. C. According to Shia and Sunni traditions, this part of Ayeh Alyum Akmalto is after the installation of Ali Ebne Abi Talib has descended to Imamat in Ghadir Khom.

Apart from the narrative reasons, rational analysis also achieves the same because it has four important features

The days mentioned are 1-The day of despair of the disbelievers 2- The day of completion of religion, 3-The day of completion of God's blessings on people, 4- The day when Islam as a "religion" and a complete religion is approved by God

Now, if we examine the events of the days of Islamic history, there are no important days like the emigration of Mecca, conquest of Mecca, victory in wars, etc., with all the values ​​they had, including these four attributes, they are not important in this verse; Even Hajat al-Veda is not of this importance;  Because Haj is a part of religion, not all religion

But the mission = Be’sat” is the first day of the beginning of the Prophet's mission, which can never be called a day

First, the mission of religion has been completed

But the migration, the day of migration of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, by God's command, It is the day when the infidels attack the house of the prophet, not the day of their despair

But the days of victory in the battle of Badr and Khandaq, etc, the only infidels who were in the battle scene, despaired while the Quran says: On this day, All the disbelievers were disappointed=

الیوم یئس الذین کفروا

But the Hajat Al-Weda, which the people learned the rituals of Haj in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, only the Haj of the people was completed with the teaching of the Prophet, not the whole religion, while the Quran says: "This day is perfect for your religion

But Ghadir Khom is the day when God issued the order to install Hazrat Ali as the successor of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him. It is the only day that the four titles mentioned in the verse Akmalto  and Atmamato

The satisfaction of the infidels is consistent with it

But the desperation of the infidels was due to the fact that when the slander, war and assassination attempt against the Prophet was unsuccessful

Their only hope was the death of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the installation of Ali Ebne Abi Talib, peace be upon him, made everyone understand that if he had a son, he would not be better than Ali, and his religion would not disappear with his death. Because a person like Ali Ebne Abi Talib, peace be upon him, is the successor of the Prophet, peace be upon him, and the leader of the Ummah It was here that all the disbelievers were disappointed

But the perfection of religion is due to the fact that if complete regulations and laws are established, but for the Ummah and If the society of innocent and perfect leadership is not determined, the regulations will remain incomplete

But God's consent is for that, when a perfect law and a just executive is tied to me, satisfaction

The Lord is achieved

If each of the fulfillment of the religion, the completion of the blessings of the truth and the despair of the disbelievers happens on a single day, then it is enough that that day is one of the days of Allah, until it reaches a day like Ghadir, which has all these characteristics together. For this reason, in the traditions of Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, Eid Ghadir is considered one of the biggest holidays

The effects of things sometimes result from the totality of all its parts, such as fasting, which is invalidated if we break the fast even a moment before the call to prayer, that's why the word "complete" is used

And sometimes it is such that each part has its own effect, like reciting verses

Quran, whose perfection lies in the recitation of all of it, and no matter how much it is recited, it has rewards, sometimes some parts It is in such a way that if it is not there, it is an incomplete set, even if all the other components are there, it is the same as the leadership and the guardianship of the right, because it binds man to God, and without it, creations and blessings turn into punishment.The pilot and the driver, without whom the plane and the car are useless

A look at nutrition in Islam

Islam is a school of justice. It does not recommend excessive consumption of meat like the Westerners, nor does it consider it haram like the Buddhists, nor does it consider it permissible to eat the meat of any animal in any form like the Chinese. In Islam, there are conditions and limits for consuming meat, among others

A. Do not eat the meat of carnivorous animals; Because various microbial and parasitic contaminations 

Do not eat the meat of predators, because the spirit of cruelty and ferocity will be found in you

Do not eat the meat of animals that cause public hatred

Do not eat the meat of an animal that was not blessed with God's name when it was slaughtered

Do not eat dead meat

2- In the monotheistic system, animal slaughtering must also have a divine color, otherwise it becomes haram

3- If an animal that has been beaten or has its horns torn or thrown and torn still has a rump in it and you slaughter it, it becomes halal

4- All manifestations of polytheism must be fought in every form

 5- The most important window of hope  of the infidels was the death of the prophet, which was closed by the appointment of Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him) as the leader

6- If the foreign enemy abandons you, there is an internal enemy that you must fight with fear of God

7- The infidels are afraid of a perfect religion, not of a religion whose leader be surrended and his jihad, should be closed and Its resources are looted and its people are scattered

8- If the infidels are not disappointed by you, perhaps there is a defect in your religion in terms of leadership

9- Religion is not complete without an infallible leader

10- The integrity of the school is under the infallible leadership, and the infidels are disappointed only by its existence, not by anything else

11- All blessings are incomplete without divine leadership. today Your blessings are fulfilled

12- The installation of Ali (peace be upon him) to the Imamat is the end of the blessing, and abandoning his gaurdianship is the blasphemy of the blessing, and the ungratefulness of the blessing has bad consequences

13-Islam without an infallible leader is not pleasing to God. =الیوم ...رضیت لکم الاسلام دینا

14- The non-volunteer emergency of permission to consume is haram, so a person should not be forced by his own will

15- It is a complete law that takes into account all human states and conditions, especially state

Urgency and predicament, yes, there is no dead end in the rules of Islam

16- The special conditions of emergency should not be the basis of guilt and absolute release; Rather, it should be fixed in the same amount that is necessary

17- Do not abuse the facilities that are provided for distressed people. Imam Baqer, peace be upon him, said in the interpretation of this sentence:غیر متجانف لاثم

He is someone who does not go to sin intentionally
