The Possibilities about the guidance requested from God

Three possibilities about the guidance requested from God

Under the honorable verse " اهدنا الصراط المستقیم ", it was first stated that this guidance that we seek from Almighty God is a guidance that is specific to the believers. )Yunes surah ,part of verse 19)

Faith is the source and means of guidance and we ask that you guide us to this type of guidance. Or it means the guidance that is specific to the saints and special believers

The same guidance that is referred to in verse 90 of Surah An'am, which says

" اولئک الذین هدی الله "

It is the guidance that we request from the Almighty God and it can be the comprehensive value between these two meanings

" صراط" Two possibilities about the meaning of

Another topic that we presented under this verse was the meaning of "صراط". We said that not every path is called "صراط"."صراط" is the path that engulfs the traveler. When you look at that road and see the pedestrians on it, it is as if you see that this road embraces and absorbs the pedestrians. What kind of way do we see when we look like this

That wide and visible way. Consider a wide asphalt road, which is very wide, and assume that there are pedestrians on it. When a person looks at a road like this, because this road is clear, distinguished, prominent, and visible, he imagines this and as if he sees that this road has engulfed the travelers; This is called Serat; So Serat means a visible path, a clear path

We said that the meaning of " سبیل الله" which is in many verses of the Qur'an is different from Serat, every “Sabil” is not Serat. An assumption mentioned by some of our elders is to say that "Sabil" is the side road that leads to Serat. Consider this broad visible road and this highway, to which countless byways lead us

For example, one way is prayer, one way is jihad, one way is teaching religion, one way is charity, one way is good behavior; All of these are Allah's Sabil; Different and secondary roads, the characteristic of these secondary roads is that they lead and bring the traveler to this main road. Therefore, it can be said that "Sabil al-Allah" means those secondary roads and "Serat" means that main road

So, you know that each of these secondary roads that you step on will lead you to that main road. So "straight path" is a step higher than the Sabil of Allah; it is a next step. You move through these ways that are mentioned in the Qur'an as the Sabil of God, until you reach the straight path; You perform prayer, you give zakat and alms in the way of God, you speak justly, you breed good qualities in yourself, you help others, and you follow other good paths until you reach the straight path

Another assumption is that "Sabil of Allah" is not a path beyond “Serat”, it is not outside Serat, it is not a side path, but every path of “Sabil of Allah” is a part of Serat. That is, this wide road, which we call the straight path of God, has parts. Sometimes you walk on the side of the road, sometimes you walk a little closer to the middle and sometimes from the middle. In the wide width of this straight path, there are tens, hundreds, thousands of paths

These paths are separate from each other, they do not match each other, each one is different from the other. But all of them are in the middle and at the same time the straight path. So when you pray, you are moving in the straight path, a part of this broad path. is prayer; When you give charity, you are walking in a straight path; This is another part of that path; Jihad is the same way you do it; The same way you hate the enemies of God; You love God's friends in the same way; The good qualities that you cultivate in yourself are the same; Each of these Sabil of Allah is a part of this straight divine path

Some of these divine Sabils may be more superficial ways; Some are deeper ways. A person is moving towards God through deep and deep-rooted mystical worship. For example, great mystics, great saints, noble people, righteous and worthy servants of God, not a single person understands anything from those deep and subtle mystical knowledge.; His mind does not have that tenderness, that height and that complexity, he is a simple and honest person, this is also moving in the direction of Allah; The level of these is not the same

At the same time, we have a person like the Prophet (PBUH), Amir al-Mu'minin Ali (AS), Salman and Abu Dharr, Abi Ibn Ka'b, Miqdad, Ammar and Malik Ashtar, at the same time we have ordinary people who are in the way of God. they move; Both groups are on the straight path, although the Sabil of this one is not the same as the Sabil of that one; The movement quality of this is not the same as the movement quality of that, the speed of this is not comparable to the speed of that. You have heard the story of Moses and the Shepherd, it is a parable that can be found in all times

A shepherd spoke to God in a very simple and vernacular language, he told God to come and wash your feet, comb your hair, that was his knowledge, servitude, sincerity, Islam - which means submission to God - was in this man. Although his knowledge was very incomplete. At the same time, it was Moses who found fault with him. If this story is true, it is an allegory that you can find something like this at all times

When you look, both of these are moving in the same direction despite the difference in their level. They are approaching the same destination, although the depth of faith of this one is not comparable with the depth of faith of that one. In our time, honest, nave and sane people, right They said and acted truthfully and responded to the call of God that they were on the straight path of God. At the same time, we had our own Imam(Khomeini), who ran towards the same goal with that precise and delicate knowledge of faith. Both are on the straight path, although the Sabil of this one is not the same as the Sabil of that one

Therefore, based on this second assumption and the second meaning, we can imagine that the straight path means the basic direction of life. are you paying attention This is the straight path? If this orientation was towards the truth and in the name of God and for God and with the help of God, then a person is on the right path. It is possible for a person to move in this direction with a very high knowledge and with a very heavy worship and with a very difficult jihad

A human being moves in this way, he does not have that knowledge, nor that Jihad, nor that accurate understanding of the goal, of God, and of the way; But he is walking, he is a believer who puts his head down and moves in the way of God; They said tell the truth, he speaks the truth, they said do not oppress, he does not oppress, he lives a normal life and is moving on the same path, this path is also correct. Both are on the right path, although they are not on the same level

So, the straight path that you ask God to guide you to in this verse, that is, the basic direction of life, the correct direction of life; This is called the direct path" . ." اهدناالصراط المستقیم God, guide us to the right direction and the right way and to the right goal
