The reason for using the addressee pronoun in "Iyya ka"
The last thing that I will present in this part of the noble verse is that in "Iyya ka Nabodo" you address; There was no address before, from "Alhamdulillahe rabel-alamin, * Al-Rahman Al-Rahim * Malike Yum al-Din" until now, there was no address. It means presence; Presence before God. So while reciting the Qur'an, reciting the prayer and performing the prayer, this honorable verse is in the prayer, this state of presence is assumed. does, the right result is dependent on speaking and speaking requires presence, without presence, any speaking is meaningless, speaking without knowing the audience and realizing what he is saying is meaningless
Seek help only from God
"Va Iyya ka Nasta'in" is the second sentence of this verse. And we only ask for your help. "Nasta'in" from the article "Aun" means seeking. It means we ask you for help. Sometimes it is translated that we only ask you for Nasr. “Nasr” is not the exact meaning of help. Aoun means to help, Nasr, may not apply to this word. "Va Iyya Ka Nasta'in" means we only ask for help from you and only seek help from you. So what do we need your help with? First, in this worship; When we said – Iyya Ka Nabodo - we serve you; This exclusive worship of God needs God's help. We ask for your help to serve only you and not others; This is the truth. Not serving other than God is easy in words, but in practice it is the most difficult thing. Not serving other than God means abandoning all other ungodly and unjust powers, which is very difficult; It is also difficult in personal life. It is also difficult in social life. It is also difficult as a nation and you can see its difficulties today in confronting the powers with the Islamic Republic that has raised the flag of monotheism; God should be asked for help
It is even more difficult to get rid of that devil and tyrant inside us. It's harder than that. It is easier to fight against America than to fight against selfish desires. This is the hardest of all; The basis of that struggle is this struggle
Fighting the whim, the basis of fighting the tyrants
If man can overcome the tyrant within himself, the devil within himself, the usurping king within him - that is, the real autocrat - his lusts, his unjust desires, he will be able to overcome the greatest powers in the world
Of course, these are not poems. It is not an essay either. These are objective facts; We always believed in these things. We found them during the struggles before the victory of the Islamic Revolution and during the revolution and after it. If people overcome their whim, they will sacrifice; And if a collective nation sacrifices itself, no power can overcome it
Where we fail is that we lack sacrifice.; where the enemy wins over us when we could not win over our whim; The first point of a person's failure is his own internal failure. Where the love of life and the beauties of life and other factors similar to the love of life - such as envy, boasting, and the like - overcome a person. They shake the human hand at work
When your hand trembles, your enemy's hand becomes strong; When your head bows, he raises his head; This is a compulsive thing. You see where the supreme power is; The American powers in Lebanon are defeated by some Muslim youths, Muslim youths who do not care about their lives and destroyed the American embassy and that establishment, then the French establishment. They also saw that it was not possible for them to stay in Lebanon, so they left. Where the whim is strong, the selfish desires are strong, the spiritual motivations are silent, the spiritual conscience is not awake, like this unfortunate neighbor of ours (Saddam Hussein's government) who could not even one hundred hours (in the occupation of Kuwait against the multinational forces led by the US) to resist. Neither he nor those who were with him-all retreated
Therefore, the first case we ask God for help is in this struggle; In this internal struggle and everything that follows from that internal struggle. That is, in fact, the first case we ask God for help is exclusive worship, exclusive servitude, and exclusive worship of the truth, and then we should only ask God for help in all matters of life
