بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ. وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ(۱) الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ (۲) يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ (۳) كَلَّا لَيُنْبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ (۴) وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ (۵) نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ (۶) الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ (۷) إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِمْ مُؤْصَدَةٌ (۸) فِي عَمَدٍ مُمَدَّدَةٍ (۹)
Woe to every scornful and mocking human. (2) He who amasses wealth and counts it. (3) He thinks that his wealth has made him immortal. (4) It is not so. He will surely be thrown into a blazing fire. (5) And what will make you know what the blazing fire is? (6) A fire kindled by God, (7) Which will penetrate the hearts. (8) It will be closed up against them (and there is no escape from it). (9) In tall, extended pillars
Points
“Humazah” comes from “hamzah” which means finding fault with the eyes, eyebrows and gestures. “lamzah” means finding fault with the tongue. The letter at the end of these two words is for exaggeration, like which means one who laughs a lot. "Hotamah" means to crush and break completely. "Mu'sada" refers to a hole that is made in a mountain and its door is tightly closed. "Emaad" (long and extended pillars) refers to either the long nails with which the people of torment are nailed and imprisoned, or the huge flames of fire that are extended like long pillars.
In the language of the Quran, if you go after wealth after paying attention to God, it is valuable
قُضِيَتِ الصلوّةُ فَانْتَشِرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ إِبْتَغُوا
But if you go after wealth instead of remembering God, it is criticized. And when they see commerce or amusement, they engage in it
Criticism and mockery in any way and form is forbidden. Absent or present, by word or gesture, joking or serious, small or large, related to work and industry or the creation of nature. Some people enjoy counting their wealth, showing it off and entertaining themselves with it, and they think that this wealth is permanent and will keep them in this world forever, and that illness and death will not come to them again. The Quran condemns this view and says: This view of the world makes a person a person of hell. Otherwise, there is no condemnation in having worldly wealth and enjoying it. Since the end of this Surah considers the punishment of the stingy and slanderous as a closed and enclosed Hell, and this type of punishment is for the disbelievers, it seems that the Surah is related to those who mock the divine prophets.
Messages
One of the dangers and dangers of accumulating wealth is despising others
“ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ”
Moral issues are part of religion, and a believer must control his tongue and gaze
“وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ”
Let us be careful not to fall into the deception of the world and not be proud of worldly wealth
“يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ”
- Those who, instead of spending their wealth, think of accumulating and hoarding wealth, should await the painful punishment of the Day of Judgment. Accumulating wealth and counting it ... that it may be thrown into the rubble –
The tongue and backbiting are major sins, because there is a promise of punishment for them
وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ
that it may be thrown into the rubble
- The fire that God kindles penetrates not only the body, but also the soul and heart of the criminals
«نارُ اللّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ الَلّتِي تَطّلعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ”
- The human mind is incapable of understanding the realities of Hell and Paradise. "And you do not realize what is the destruction"
The high pillars of fire block the escape route for the people of Hell.
