بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم
الحمدلله رب العالمین الرحمن الرحیم
In the name of Allah, the Generous, the Merciful
Praise be to God, who is the Lord of the worlds, the Generous, the Merciful. This surah, like all other surahs except Surah Baraat, begins with the name of God, Bismillah Rahman Raheem. The reason why Surah Bara'at does not start with this clear and great sentence is that this naming in the name of Allah indicates mercy, grace and care and the first verses of Surah Bara'at indicate anger, oppression and revenge, Bara'at and disgust. Therefore, that surah has no relevance to Bismillah
Why do the surahs of the Qur'an and everything in Islam, every word, every movement and action begin with the name of God? Starting with the name of God shows the direction and belonging of this work and this speech. As well as starting with the name of anyone else and everything else has the same property. When you start something in the name of God, you understand that this work belongs to God, this work refers to God, and the direction of this work is towards God. Therefore, when you start a sura, a collection of luminous words, with the name of God, it means that this word belongs to God and is directed towards God, and your degree is the knowledge of God
The meaning of Bismillah
Bismillah . This is in the name of Allah; it means with the help of this name. In Persian, it is also used in the same sense, that is, in the name of God, with the help of this name, or in association with this name, or with regard to this name. Allah is the name of God. It means the one whose hearts and souls are amazed and focused on him, and Alef and Lam ((ال are words of definition, that is, the specific God and God who is the creator of heaven and earth and all creatures. Gradually, these two have been merged and the combination of Allah has been achieved. Some people say that it is not like that Allah was God, but this word Allah itself has been used for the name of God and the holy essence of God, and the rest of the other names that we read and hear for God are God's attributes. This is God himself. The holy existence is the Lord. It is the name of God, so Bismillah means in the name of God
The difference between Rahman and Rahim
Rahman and Rahim, both are taken from the root of mercy, but with two different cares. With two different views, or in an interpretation from two different dimensions. Rahman is an exaggeration meaning that it indicates the abundance of mercy and the increase of mercy
Rahim is also from the same root as mercy, but it is one of the ambiguous attributes and indicates stability and durability. From these two words, we understand two things at first. We understand from Rahman that God has a lot of mercy and the scope of God's mercy is very wide. From al-Rahim, we understand that God's mercy is continuous and permanent and it is constant for him and never fades away.
