  4. On that Day will she declare her tidings
  5. For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration

that they [had done]

Notes

The meaning of “the Asqalah” is the dead that the earth will throw out on the Day of Judgment. As it says in another verse: “And it threw out what was in it and became scattered.” The scattered presence of people on the Day of Judgment is either because each person is with the leader he has chosen in this world, or because the good and the bad will be separated from each other. By God’s will, inanimate objects will also speak on the Day of Judgment, and not only the earth but also the parts of a person’s body will bear witness against him. “And they said to their skins, ‘Why did you bear witness against us?’ They said, We have given out to Allah, Who has given out to all things.” It has been narrated in narrations that you should pray in different places, because that place will bear witness for you on the Day of Judgment. In another narration, it has been narrated that you should call to prayer in the deserts, because every stone and crag that your voice reaches will bear witness for you on the Day of Judgment. After dividing the treasury, Imam Ali (a.s.) would pray two rak’ahs and address the earth: “O earth, bear witness that I filled you with the treasury in truth and then emptied you in truth.” It is in the narrations that the way of informing the earth is as follows: So-and-so did such-and-such an act on me at such-and-such a time

“Mithqal” comes from “thaqeel” which means a measure of heaviness, and the word dharrah” either means the smallest or means light particles scattered in the air. Of course, today the atom is also called a particle

But in any case, what is meant is the smallest unit of weight.

In the narrations, we read: An Arab man entered the mosque of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and said: Teach me from what God has taught you! The Holy Prophet (PBUH) assigned some body to teach him the Quran

The teacher recited Surah Idha Zulzilat for him, and as soon as he reached the verse

فَمَنْ يَعْمَلْ مِثْقال ذرهً خیرا یرهَ

The Arab said: "My shroud is enough for me" and then left. The Prophet (PBUH) said: He went back jurist

In Surah Luqman, Luqman tells his son: "If you have a good or bad deed equal to the weight of a mustard seed, whether it is in the heart of a rock or in the highest heaven or on earth, God will call you to account on the Day of Judgment

The testimony and testimony of the earth on the Day of Judgment indicates that at this time, the earth consciously understands our deeds and will narrate them on that day with divine command and revelation

The addition of earthquakes to the earth "earthquakes" is both a symbol of the greatness of the earthquake and a symbol of its spread throughout the earth. The greatness of this earthquake is also mentioned in the first verse of Surah Hajj

In Sermon 157 of Nahjul Balagha, we also read: "O servants of God! Fear the Day when all deeds will be reviewed, earthquakes will increase, and children will grow old (due to the length or severity of that Day)

Messages

A great earthquake on the eve of the Day of Judgment is a certain and inevitable matter. The word "if" is used in a case where it is a certain matter

It is a physical event. (The bodies of people are buried in the earth and will come out on the Day of Judgment, not their souls)

"The Day of Judgment is the Day of Man's Wonder"

The earth is a conscious being

The earth is one of the witnesses of the Day of Judgment

On the Day of Judgment, the path of any denial is closed

All people are equal in the court of divine justice

Divine punishment and reward are based on deeds

No matter how small the deeds are, they have a record and a book. Therefore, do not consider sins or acts of worship as small

The manifestation and seeing of deeds on that day is itself a punishment or a pleasure.
